Dustin Supencheck
Born in Grand Island, Nebraska Dustin decided to pursue his passion for filmmaking and attend Columbia College Chicago to concentrate on studies in cinematography.
After graduation he hit the road for a five month documentary project and landed in Austin Texas where he met and became friends with writer/director Emily Hagins before jet setting to Los Angeles , where he resides today.
Notable projects include “In Bloom” with director Chris Michael Birkmeirer (premiering at Inside Out Fest Toronto), Finding Franklin with director Alex Bohs (Best Short Film NFFTY festival 2013) and “Do Over” with Director Rian Francis and producer/writer Kevin Foxe.
A passion to create strong and emotionally driven imagery and a curiosity of human psychology has drawn Dustin to narrative filmmaking. He feels it is our ability as filmmakers to evoke these deep instinctive emotions that makes film such a superior art form.
